CAFFÈ CAGLIARI

History of a great Italian Brand

The tradition of Caffè Cagliari started in 1895 when the founder Ambrogio Cagliari, in his early twenties, had the courage to follow his dream for a different future, and emigrated to Brazil. In the coffee plantations, he fell in love with the world of coffee and in a short time moved from being a simple labourer to becoming a great expert in the selection and roasting of coffee beans.
Ambrogio returned to Italy in 1909 and opened the first shop for roasting and coffee tasting in the city of Modena.
His experience in the processing and international trade of coffee brought instant success. As early as 1911 the company won the gold medal at the International Fair in Genova.
Today, 100 years later, Caffè Cagliari is a great family present in more than 40 countries worldwide in the Food Service, Retail and Single Serve market segments.

When I heard about Cagliari’s Casa del Caffè project, the idea ispired me. I’ve always dreamt of opening a franchise coffee bar.  I considered that the Italian atmosphere, the well designed layout, and, above all, their special Espresso, it was a challenging opportunity that would have been greatly appreciated in my country. Today I can say it was a a successful business idea.
